There are several different facilities available for use at the Fintown Railway.
- During your trip, visitors have free access to the childrens activity park.
- We have surrounding picnic benches where visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic and relax outside. If the weather is not suitable for outside, we also provide an indoor area for your picnic.
- We have a wide variety of train related souvenirs in our shop.
- Light snacks, teas and coffees are available.
- There are informative and interesting photos and articles displaying the history of the railway in our indoor area.
Cafe & Gift Shop
Hot and cold drinks as well as light snacks are available from the gift shop at Fintown station, with a wide selection of confectionary available and sweet treats for all the family.
Here you will also find our onsite toilets.
Please note: Food and Drinks are not permitted onboard the train.
Playground
Children can enjoy the large onsite playground, whilst also watching the trains pass. Located beside the old goods shed, there is play equipment including slides, swings and areas for them to explore all within a safe environment.
Picnic area
Located beside the playground is a small picnic area, where families can rest and enjoy a hot and cold drink and snack.
Free Parking
We have ample free parking on site, located beside Fintown Station house. Please follow the signs from the R250 road.
